I opened CrossFit Mansfield in April of 2008, the original CrossFit gym in Mansfield, TX. My goal then was the same as it is now: to provide safe, efficient, quality training to my members. I believe in training hard but smart. Safely and effectively getting out of that comfort zone is where you will find your results! I believe in moving your body properly, in ways that it is naturally designed to move. Couple this with strength and conditioning and you will see positive changes, both physically and mentally.
Before founding CrossFit Mansfield, I served in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years active and 3 in the reserve. I also served as a Firefighter/Paramedic at Mansfield Fire Rescue for 7 years before running CrossFit Mansfield full time.

Stephen is an Ohio native who served 25 years of active service in the Marine Corps, before retiring in 2017. He was first introduced to Crossfit in 2010, when asked by a friend if he’d like to join him for a workout. From that very moment, Crossfit opened up Pandora’s boxin the creativity of programming various workouts that would align with both personal goals and professional growth. Stephen obtained his Crossfit Level 1 certification in 2014, while instructing the Reserve Officer Training Corps at The Ohio State University. Since that time, Stephen has coached Crossfit to both military personnel aboard multiple bases and numerousCrossfit affiliates. “The best part of coaching is assisting others in achieving goals and witnessing those moments that they believed were not possible.” He believes Crossfit is the perfect platform for anyone desiring to be a more well-rounded, physically fit individual. Especially, if you wish to further delay the nursing home yet another day.

My name is Myles Jackson, I have been coaching in fitness for about 5 years. I started my fitness career while I was active duty in the Marine Corps helping Marines stay in shape and stay within regulation standards. Once I got out of the Marines I worked at Lifetime Fitness in Mansfield where I became a Master Trainer and Nutrition Coach and also became a Development Manager helping trainers there excel their career and achieve their goals.
I enjoy seeing people’s lives change for the better and I love to be a part of that process. However big or small your goal is I enjoy seeing you accomplish it. I have had clients lose close to 100lbs of fat and I have also had clients only want to gain 2lbs of muscle and I have had clients that just want to feel better and everything in between.
I’m here to get in shape stay and shape and have a fun time in the process. I love questions and if I don’t know the answer I will find it out with you. Looking forward to meeting everyone and working towards our goals together.
